One of the underlying rationales for establishing Mercantile Solicitors was to bring high quality commercial agreements into the small, medium and family owned business sectors where they can often be found to be lacking or non-existent. Every business, regardless of size, should have Trading Terms and Conditions, Employment Contracts, Distribution Agreements with key suppliers, Logistic Agreements, Partnership or Shareholder Agreements and Commercial Leases. Any business which has such properly crafted agreements is multiple times more unlikely to end up in a difficult commercial dispute.
