The purpose of the firm is to partner small, medium and family businesses in their drive for success by capturing opportunities and avoiding pitfalls in an increasingly complex business world. Big City International Law Firms increasingly proliferate the Irish legal market to meet the needs of large international businesses. The mid-tier commercial law firms have grown into the space left occupied by the largest firms, and such mid-tier firm’s ideal client base are growing multinational businesses, larger Irish indigenous businesses and well-funded high growth potential technology businesses. Big City International Law and mid-tier commercial firms typically are not interested in the SME and family owned business sectors, or at least they are not interested until such businesses are at a scale where they become interesting to them. Mercantile Solicitors’ market lies in the space between city commercial law firms and the larger provincial/suburban general practice law firms who simply do not have the commercial expertise to meet our target market’s needs. We provide commercial law services to the small, medium and family owned business sectors with particular consideration being given to the owners of such businesses. We have set out the scope of those services in the website under the headings Business Law, Capital Taxes, Private International Law and Notary Public.
